Photo Tour Specialist is a small organization based in the Netherlands, specialized in photo- and nature tours to unique and photogenic destinations.
For us, it all started with a passion to photograph beautiful nature in foreign countries. We’re professional photographers who love to travel. To share our passion with you, we’ve joined forces with an experienced and very specialized touroperator. That’s how we can literally offer you the best, well-organized photo tour packages on the planet.
In our many years of travelling around the world and photographing nature, we’ve gathered all the experience we need to properly guide and assist you during your photo tour. Of course, like you, we also like to enjoy ourselves and relax while abroad, after a busy day of taking photographs.
All our travel guides are passionate, experienced photographers, with an excellent knowledge of the destinations we travel to (if needed we always hire additional local guides). Our guides will help you find your way to the most unique vistas at ideal moments for photography. Of course we can’t know in advance when and where that will be, so all of our photo tours are flexibly organized. We want to get most out of the given circumstances, which is why all our accommodations are accustomed to us arriving and leaving at uncommon times.

One of the most important goals during our photo tours is recognizing photography subjects in nature. We’ll help and stimulate you to do this within your own creativity. Of course we’ll also cover the technical aspects of making the best images. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced photographer – we’ll teach you something new.
We travel in small groups so we minimize the impact on the ecosystem of destinations we visit.
Whenever possible, we prefer to send along two guides with every photo tour, so we can ensure enough individual attention for everyone.
